Appropriates $20,000 to the Secretary of State for oral
reading programs. Effective July 1, 1997.

1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. In addition to any other amounts, the amount
5 of $20,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is
6 appropriated to the Secretary of State for oral reading
7 programs at (i) the Flossmoor Library, (ii) the Grande
8 Prairie Public Library District, (iii) the Homewood Public
9 Library District, (iv) the Orland Park Library, and (v) the
10 Tinley Park Library.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
12 July 1, 1997.
