The sum of $1,194,727, or so much thereof as 27 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 28 business on June 30, 1997, from appropriations heretofore 29 made in Article 31, Section 1 of Public Act 89-0501, is 30 reappropriated from the Federal Support Agreement Revolving 31 Fund to the Department of Military Affairs for all costs 32 associated with the Lincoln's Challenge Stipend. -3- HDS90HB1955DMa387mm 1 Section 3. The sum of $3,000,000, or so much thereof as 2 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Federal Support 3 Agreement Revolving Fund to the Department of Military 4 Affairs for expenses related to Army National Guard 5 Facilities operations and maintenance as provided for in the 6 Cooperative Funding Agreements. 7 Section 4. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as 8 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 9 business on June 30, 1997, from appropriations heretofore 10 made in Article 31, Sec. 3 of Public Act 89-0501, is 11 reappropriated from the Federal Support Agreement Revolving 12 Fund to the Department of Military Affairs for expenses 13 related to Army National Guard Facilities operations and 14 maintenance as provided for in the Cooperative Fund 15 Agreement. 16 Section 5. The sum of $275,000, or so much thereof as 17 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Federal Support 18 Agreement Revolving Fund to the Department of Military 19 Affairs for expenses related to the Bartonville and Kankakee 20 armories for operations and maintenance according to the 21 Joint-Use Agreement. 22 Section 6. The sum of $48,500, or so much thereof as may 23 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 24 to the Department of Military Affairs for rehabilitation and 25 minor construction at armories and camps. 26 No contract shall be entered into or obligation incurred 27 for any expenditures from this appropriation until after the 28 purposes and amounts have been approved in writing by the 29 Governor. 30 Section 7. The sum of $10,700, or so much thereof as may -4- HDS90HB1955DMa387mm 1 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 2 to the Department of Military Affairs for expenses related 3 to the care and preservation of historic artifacts. 4 Section 8. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as 5 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Military Affairs 6 Trust Fund to the Department of Military Affairs to support 7 youth programs, provided such amounts shall not exceed funds 8 to be made available from public or private sources. 9 Section 9. The sum of $43,354, or so much of that sum as 10 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 11 business on June 30, 1997 from reappropriations heretofore 12 made in Article 31, Section 9 of Public Act 89-0501, is 13 reappropriated from the Illinois National Guard Armory 14 Construction Fund to the Department of Military Affairs to 15 provide the State's share in the costs of planning a new 16 armory in Danville. No contract shall be entered into or 17 obligation incurred for any expenditures from this 18 appropriation until after the purposes and amounts have been 19 approved in writing by the Governor. 20 Section 10. The sum of $9,850, or so much thereof as may 21 be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of business 22 on June 30, 1997, from appropriations heretofore made in 23 Article 31, Section 10 of Public Act 89-0501, is 24 reappropriated from the Illinois National Guard Armory 25 Construction Fund to the Department of Military Affairs for 26 land acquisition and construction of parking facilities at 27 armories. No contract shall be entered into or obligation 28 incurred for any expenditures from this appropriation until 29 after the purposes and amounts have been approved in writing 30 by the Governor. -5- HDS90HB1955DMa387mm 1 Section 11. The sum of $400,000, or so much thereof as 2 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois National 3 Guard Armory Construction Fund to the Department of Military 4 Affairs for land acquisition and construction of parking 5 facilities at armories. No contract shall be entered into or 6 obligation incurred for any expenditures from this 7 appropriation until after the purposes and amounts have been 8 approved in writing by the Governor. 9 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect on 10 July 1, 1997.".
