1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1942
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1942, by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
4 "Section 1. The sum of $17,324,300, or so much thereof
5 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
6 Fund for payment to the Board of the Comprehensive Health
7 Insurance Plan pursuant to Section 12 of the Comprehensive
8 Health Insurance Plan Act.
9 Section 2. The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as
10 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
11 Fund for payment to the Board of the Comprehensive Health
12 Insurance Plan to fund planning for a Healthy Start Insurance
13 Plan as specified in the Healthy Start Insurance Plan Act of
14 1997.
15 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
16 1, 1997.".
