1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1938, AS AMENDED
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1938, as amended,
3 on page 21, by inserting between line 24 and line 25 the
4 following:
5 "Section 15. In addition to any other amounts, the sum
6 of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is
7 appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department
8 of Public Health for the purpose of a grant to fund home
9 delivered meals for Open Hand of Chicago, a not-for-profit
10 organization.
11 Section 20. In addition to any other amounts, the sum of
12 $300,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is
13 appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department
14 of Public Health for the purpose of a grant to fund diabetes
15 education and prevention.
16 Section 25. In addition to any other amounts, the sum of
17 $300,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is
18 appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department
19 of Public Health for the purpose of a grant to fund an Urban
20 Youth Violence Prevention Task Force.".
