1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Roofing Industry Licensing
2 Act by changing Section 5.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Roofing Industry Licensing Act
6 is amended by changing Section 5 as follows:
7 (225 ILCS 335/5) (from Ch. 111, par. 7505)
8 Sec. 5. Department authority.
9 (a) Each State certified roofing contractor shall affix
10 the license number of his certification to all his contracts
11 and bids. In addition, the official issuing building permits
12 shall affix the certified roofing license number to each
13 application for a building permit and on each building permit
14 issued and recorded.
15 (b) In addition, every roofing contractor shall affix
16 the certified roofing license number and the licensee's name
17 on all vehicles used as part of his business as a roofing
18 contractor.
19 (c) Every holder of a certificate of registration shall
20 display it in a conspicuous place in his or her principal
21 office, place of business, or place of employment.
