1 AN ACT concerning mental health and developmental
2 disabilities.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Department of Mental Health and
6 Developmental Disabilities Act (short title changed to
7 Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Administrative
8 Act effective July 1, 1997) is amended by changing Section 62
9 as follows:
10 (20 ILCS 1705/62) (from Ch. 91 1/2, par. 100-62)
11 Sec. 62. Transitional program. The Department shall
12 establish and implement, in conjunction with the State Board
13 of Education, a pilot program for the provision of
14 transitional, educational services to persons with a
15 developmental disability 18 years of age or older who have
16 completed public school programs.
