1 AN ACT to amend the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois
2 by changing Section 14.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6 amended by changing Section 14 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 5/14) (from Ch. 127, par. 14)
8 Sec. 14. Oath. Each officer whose office is created by
9 this Act, or by any amendments thereto, shall, before
10 entering upon the discharge of the duties of his office,
11 qualify for the office by taking and subscribing the
12 constitutional oath of office and filing the signed oath in
13 the office of the Secretary of State.
