Amends the Election Code by making a technical change to
the Section concerning State's Attorney and Superintendent of
Multi-County Educational Service Region committees.

1 AN ACT to amend the Election Code by changing Section
2 7-8.02.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Election Code is amended by changing
6 Section 7-8.02 as follows:
7 (10 ILCS 5/7-8.02) (from Ch. 46, par. 7-8.02)
8 Sec. 7-8.02. State's Attorney committee; Superintendent
9 of Multi-County Educational Service Region committee. The
10 State's Attorney committee for each group of counties which
11 jointly elect a State's Attorney and the Superintendent of
12 Multi-County Educational Service Region committee for each
13 group of counties which jointly elect a Superintendent of a
14 Multi-County Educational Service Region shall consist of the
15 chairmen of the county central committees of the counties
16 composing the such group of counties. In the organization and
17 proceedings of a State's Attorney or Superintendent of
18 Multi-County Educational Service Region committee, each
19 chairman of a county central committee shall have one vote
20 for each ballot voted in his or her county by the primary
21 electors of his or her party at the last primary of an
22 even-numbered year.
