1 AN ACT to amend the University of Illinois Trustees Act
2 by changing Section 3.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The University of Illinois Trustees Act is
6 amended by changing Section 3 as follows:
7 (110 ILCS 310/3) (from Ch. 144, par. 43)
8 Sec. 3. No member of the Board of Trustees such board
9 shall hold or be employed in or appointed to any office or
10 place under the authority of the Board of which he is a
11 member, nor shall any member of that said Board be directly
12 or indirectly interested in any contract to be made by the
13 said Board for any purpose whatever. This Section does not
14 prohibit the student members of the Board of Trustees from
15 maintaining normal and official status as enrolled students
16 or normal student employment at the University of Illinois.
