1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1113
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1113, AS AMENDED,
3 in the title and in the introductory clause to Section 5 of
4 the bill, by changing "20" each time it appears to "20, 22";
5 and
6 in the body of Section 5 of the bill, in Sec. 5, by replacing
7 the paragraph that begins ""Financial institution" means"
8 with the following:
9 ""Financial institution" means (i) any bank subject to
10 the Illinois Banking Act, any savings bank subject to the
11 Savings Bank Act, any savings and loan association subject to
12 the Illinois Savings and Loan Act of 1985, or any credit
13 union subject to the Illinois Credit Union Act; (ii) and any
14 federally chartered commercial bank, savings bank, or savings
15 and loan association, or credit union organized and operated
16 in this State under the laws of the United States; and (iii)
17 any business corporation, limited liability company, business
18 trust, partnership, joint venture, or other entity that is
19 directly or indirectly at least 50% owned by or commonly
20 owned with a financial institution."; and
21 in the body of Section 5 of the bill, in Sec. 20, by changing
22 "account shall register with" to "account shall register with

1 and pay a fee of $50 annually to"; and
2 in the body of Section 5 of the bill by inserting immediately
3 below the last line of Sec. 20 the following:
4 "(205 ILCS690/22 new)
5 Sec. 22. Fees. All moneys received by the Commissioner
6 under this Act shall be paid into, and all expenses incurred
7 by the Commissioner under this Act shall be paid from, the
8 Bank and Trust Company Fund."; and
9 in the body of Section 5 of the bill, in Sec. 30, by changing
10 "Illinois is a civil" to "Illinois in a civil".
