1 AN ACT to amend the School Code by changing Section
2 18-8.4.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing
6 Section 18-8.4 as follows:
7 (105 ILCS 5/18-8.4) (from Ch. 122, par. 18-8.4)
8 Sec. 18-8.4. Supplementary State aid for districts with
9 an increasing weighted average daily attendance. School
10 districts that which are entitled to a supplementary State
11 aid payment pursuant to subsection 1(m) of Part A of Section
12 18-8 because of an increase in their weighted average daily
13 attendance as computed for the first calendar month of a
14 current school year beginning July 1, 1986 or thereafter
15 shall file their claim for that such supplementary aid on
16 forms prescribed by the State Board of Education. The State
17 Board of Education shall establish by rule the time and
18 manner of filing such claims and such reporting requirements
19 as it deems necessary to determine and compute the amount of
20 the supplementary State aid to be paid to districts pursuant
21 to subsection 1(m) of Part A of Section 18-8. Such
22 supplementary State aid payments shall be treated as separate
23 from all other payments made pursuant to Section 18-8.
