1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1018
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1018 on page 2,
3 line 12, after "Act", by inserting "and references in the Act
4 to "State agency" shall mean "county" and references to the
5 "Department of Central Management Services" shall mean the
6 "county board". Notwithstanding any provision of the
7 Illinois Purchasing Act, any purchase by a county of
8 services, materials, equipment, or supplies in excess of
9 $10,000, other than professional services, shall be
10 contracted for by a competitive selection procedure".
