1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 994
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 994 on page 3, by
3 replacing lines 3 through 6 with the following:
4 "established for the preceding year. For Fiscal Year 1985,
5 the maximum"; and
6 on page 3, by inserting below line 10, the following:
7 "The 10% maximum increase over the amount appropriated
8 for the preceding year, however, may be exceeded for a
9 participant that is a rural transit district that received an
10 initial appropriation in Fiscal Year 1994. For any such
11 participant, a 10% maximum increase is established in each
12 subsequent year following the Fiscal Year when the amount
13 appropriated is equal to or greater than the maximum
14 allowable under Section 2-7 of this Act."; and
15 on page 3, by inserting below line 11 the following:
16 "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
17 becoming law.".
