1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 763
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 763, on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 1 and 2 with the following:
4 "AN ACT in relation to the costs of supervising persons
5 on parole or mandatory supervised release."; and
6 on page 1, by inserting between lines 4 and 5 the following:
7 "Section 2. The State Finance Act is amended by changing
8 Section 6z-13 as follows:
9 (30 ILCS 105/6z-13) (from Ch. 127, par. 142z-13)
10 Sec. 6z-13. The gross or total proceeds and monies
11 recovered by the Department of Corrections as reimbursement
12 for the expenses incurred by the incarceration, parole, and
13 mandatory supervised release of convicted persons, the gross
14 and total proceeds and monies recovered by the Department of
15 Corrections as reimbursement of payments made under the
16 Workers' Compensation Act, and the gross or total proceeds
17 and monies recovered by the Department of Corrections as
18 reimbursement for the expenses incurred by the employment of
19 persons referred to the Department as participants in the
20 federal Job Training Partnership Act Programs, shall be
21 covered into the State Treasury into a State trust fund to be

1 held by the Treasurer as ex officio custodian and spent at
2 the direction of the Director of the Department.
