technical change in the Section concerning exemptions from
bonding requirements.

1 AN ACT to amend the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act by
2 changing Section 2i.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Retailers' Occupation Tax Act is amended
6 by changing Section 2i as follows:
7 (35 ILCS 120/2i) (from Ch. 120, par. 441i)
8 Sec. 2i. Exemption from bonding. Notwithstanding any
9 other provision to the contrary, any person who is required
10 to file a bond pursuant to any provision of this Act and who
11 has continuously complied with all provisions of this Act for
12 24 or more consecutive months, shall no longer be required to
13 comply with the bonding provisions of this Act so long as
14 such person continues his compliance with the provisions of
15 this Act.
