Appropriates $1 to the Legislative Information System for
the purchase of modems capable of operating at a speed of
28,800 bits per second. Effective July 1, 1997.

1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The sum of $1, or so much thereof as may be
5 necessary, is appropriated to the Legislative Information
6 System for the purchase of modems capable of operating at a
7 speed of 28,800 bits per second to be used for the computer
8 connections provided by the System under Section 6 of the
9 Legislative Information System Act.
10 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
11 July 1, 1997.
