Appropriates $2,400,000 to the Department of Public
Health to fund the operation of the Rush Alzheimer's Disease
Center in Chicago and the Southern Illinois University
Alzheimer's Disease Center in Springfield. Effective
immediately.

1 AN ACT making an appropriation to the Department of
2 Public Health.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The amount of $2,400,000, or so much thereof
6 as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of
7 Public Health for the purpose of funding the operation of
8 Alzheimer's Disease centers as follows: $1,200,000 for the
9 operation of the Rush Alzheimer's Disease Center in Chicago
10 and $1,200,000 for the operation of the Southern Illinois
11 University Alzheimer's Disease Center in Springfield.
12 Section 10. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
13 becoming law.
