Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.

    (820 ILCS 275/20)
    Sec. 20. Affidavit. An employer may obtain a workplace protection restraining order if the employer files an affidavit that shows by a preponderance of the evidence that:
        (1) the conditions of Section 15 of this Act have
    
been met;
        (2) if the petitioner is seeking an emergency order,
    
great or irreparable harm has been suffered, will be suffered, or is likely to be suffered by an employee at the workplace;
        (3) if the employer is seeking a workplace protection
    
restraining order involving an employee who is a victim of unlawful violence by a family or household member as defined by item (6) of Section 103 of the Illinois Domestic Violence Act of 1986, the conditions of Section 21 of this Act have been met.
