Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process.
Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as
Public
Acts soon after they become law. For information concerning the relationship between statutes and Public Acts, refer to the
Guide.
Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes,
statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect.
If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has
not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already
been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes
made to the current law.
(225 ILCS 735/13) (from Ch. 111, par. 713) Sec. 13. License revocation. (a) The Department may revoke the license of any person who violates the provisions of this Act and may refuse to issue any permit or license to any person who is in violation of this Act for a period of time as established by administrative rule. (a-5) License revocation, suspension, or refusal by the Department to issue or reissue any permit or license, and the procedures for such action by the Department or appeals to such action that was taken by the Department shall be established by administrative rule and in accordance with the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act. (i) Any person whose license to engage in an activity regulated by this Act has been revoked or whose ability to engage in the activity requiring the license has been suspended may not, during the period of suspension or revocation: (1) hold any license authorized by this Act; (2) perform directly or indirectly any privileges |
| authorized by any license issued in accordance with this Act; or

(3) buy, sell, barter, trade, or take possession of
|
| any timber as defined in this Act, regardless of any contractual agreements entered into prior to the revocation or suspension.

(j) No person may be issued a license or engage in any activity regulated by this Act for which a license is required during the time that the person's privilege to engage in the same or similar activities is suspended or revoked by another state, by a federal agency, or by a province of Canada.
