Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as
Public
Acts soon after they become law. For information concerning the relationship between statutes and Public Acts, refer to the

Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes,
statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect.
If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has
not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already
been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes
made to the current law.
(210 ILCS 125/8) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1208) Sec. 8. Payment of fees; display of licenses. All fees and penalties generated under
the authority of this Act, except fees collected by agent health departments or ordinance health departments, shall be deposited into
the Facility Licensing Fund and, subject to appropriation, shall be used by the
Department in the administration of this Act. All fees and penalties shall be submitted in
the form of a check or money order or by other means authorized by the Department, agent health department, or ordinance health department. All
licenses provided for in this Act shall be displayed in a
conspicuous place for public view, within or on such premises. In case of
revocation or suspension, the licensee shall cause the
license to be removed and to post the notice of revocation or suspension
issued by the Department or ordinance health department. Fees for a permit for construction or major alteration, an original license, and a plan resubmittal shall be determined by the total water surface area of the swimming facility, except that aquatic features and bathing beaches shall be charged a fixed fee regardless of water surface area. License renewal fees assessed by the Department shall be determined by the total water surface area of the swimming facility, except that aquatic features and bathing beaches shall be charged a fixed fee regardless of water surface area. Late renewal, lapsed, initial inspection, and subsequent inspection fees assessed by the Department shall be fixed fees regardless of water surface area. Fees assessed by the Department shall be determined in accordance with the ownership designation of the swimming facility at the time of application.
