Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as Public Acts soon after they become law. For information concerning the relationship between statutes and Public Acts, refer to the Guide.

Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.

Sec. 308. District enlarged.

Upon August 3, 2015 (the effective date of Public Act 99-231), the corporate limits of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago are extended to include within those corporate limits the following described tracts of land and the tracts are hereby annexed to the District:

Parcel 1:
THAT PART OF THE SOUTH 1/2 OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF

SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 42 NORTH, RANGE 9, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, LYING EAST OF THE EAST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF ELGIN, JOLIET AND EASTERN RAILROAD, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

Parcel 2:
THE NORTH 1/2 OF THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 33,

TOWNSHIP 42 NORTH, RANGE 9, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, (EXCEPT THEREFROM STRIP OFF THE WEST END THEREOF CONVEYED TO JERMIAH H. BROWNING BY DEED RECORDED SEPTEMBER 15TH 1859, AS DOCUMENT 23078 IN BOOK 162, PAGE 619, SAID STRIP BEING THIRTY FOUR AND ONE HALF FEET WIDE AT NORTH END FORTY TWO FEET WIDE AT SOUTH END) IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
