Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.

    (30 ILCS 105/6z-126)
    Sec. 6z-126. Law Enforcement Training Fund. The Law Enforcement Training Fund is hereby created as a special fund in the State treasury. Moneys in the Fund shall consist of: (i) 90% of the revenue from increasing the insurance producer license fees, as provided under subsection (a-5) of Section 500-135 of the Illinois Insurance Code; and (ii) 90% of the moneys collected from auto insurance policy fees under Section 8.6 of the Illinois Vehicle Hijacking and Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention and Insurance Verification Act. This Fund shall be used by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board for the following purposes: (i) to fund law enforcement certification compliance; (ii) for the development and provision of basic courses by Board-approved academics, and in-service courses by approved academies; and (iii) for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board.
