Sec. 30-120.
College of Law.
Jurisdiction and governance over the
college of law acquired by the Board of Regents prior to its abolition and then
operated through Northern Illinois University as the Lewis University College
of Law at Glen Ellyn, Illinois is hereby transferred to and vested in the Board
of Trustees of Northern Illinois University. The title to all property, real
and personal, books, records, accounts and documents that on the effective date
of this Article are held by the Board of Regents for or on behalf of or with
respect to that college of law shall be deemed by operation of law to be
transferred to and vested in the Board of Trustees of Northern Illinois
University to be held for the People of the State of Illinois for such
University. The Board of Trustees of Northern Illinois University shall
operate, manage, control, and maintain such college of law as a college of
Northern Illinois University in accordance with all rights, powers, and
duties now or hereafter vested by law in the Board.
