SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with regret of the death of David Owen Fogle of Energy
4 on Thursday, July 21, 2005; and
 
5     WHEREAS, He was born on December 29, 1949, in Herrin to
6 William and Mary Ann (Hiscox) Fogle; as a youth, he attended
7 First Christian Church in Herrin; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Mr. Fogle was the owner and operator of Wye Supply
9 on Old Illinois 13 in Marion; and
 
10     WHEREAS, The passing of David Owen Fogle has been deeply
11 felt by many, especially his sisters and brother-in-law, Alice
12 and Donald Black, Dorothy Lewis, and Billie Louthan; his nieces
13 and nephews, Leslie Black and his wife Nancy, Kim Spencer and
14 her husband Dennis, Marianne Cowan and her husband Steve, Jodi
15 Smith and her husband Ken, Nick Lewis, David Allen Lewis,
16 Jennifer Hopfinger and her husband Chris, and Alison Louthan;
17 his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chris Cowan, Tierney
18 Cowan, Austin Black, Lindsay Black, Jill Black, Scott Smith,
19 Misty Smith, Tina Smith, Denise Ridgway and her husband Nathan,
20 Laura Spencer, Lisa Spencer, and Lucas Hopfinger; his
21 great-great-nephew and great-great-nieces, Colbie Ridgway,
22 Macie Ridgway, and Shalyn South; his uncle and aunt, Goble and
23 Annabell Fogle; and his close friends, Ralph "Skip" Haught,
24 Phillip Stucker, Greg Newbold, and Pat Wills; he was preceded
25 in death by his parents; his grandparents, David and Ethel
26 Hiscox; his aunts and uncles, Ethel and Joe Carimati, Dorothy
27 Hiscox, and Edith and Ramon Gothard; and his nephew, Scott
28 Lewis; therefore, be it
 
29     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
30 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
31 David Owen Fogle, and we extend our sincere condolences to his

1 family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
2 further
 
3     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4 presented to his family as an expression of our deepest
5 sympathy.
