| 1 | | HOUSE RESOLUTION | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate John T. Frederick on the | 4 | | occasion of his retirement from The Boeing Company; and | 5 | | WHEREAS, John Frederick earned a Bachelor of Business | 6 | | Administration in Management, graduating cum laude, and a | 7 | | Master of Arts in Political Science from Wichita State | 8 | | University in addition to graduating from the Public Affairs | 9 | | Institute; and | 10 | | WHEREAS, John Frederick began his career as a material | 11 | | buyer for the KC-135 programs at Boeing in 1988; and | 12 | | WHEREAS, John Frederick joined Boeing's government affairs | 13 | | team working as the government affairs administrator in 1989; | 14 | | he was promoted to government relations manager and was then | 15 | | named director of state and local government operations in | 16 | | 2006; and | 17 | | WHEREAS, John Frederick has also served as the director of | 18 | | state and local government operations for Boeing, representing | 19 | | the company at local and state levels of government in all | 20 | | legislative, administrative, and public agency matters; and |

| 1 | | WHEREAS, John Frederick has been a leader in the business | 2 | | and aviation world, representing Boeing, one of the world's | 3 | | largest corporations, on the Board of Directors for the | 4 | | Illinois Manufacturers' Association, for Associated Industries | 5 | | of Missouri, and for the Leadership Council of Southwestern | 6 | | Illinois; and | 7 | | WHEREAS, John Frederick is retiring from Boeing in 2024 | 8 | | after 36 years of excellent service; and | 9 | | WHEREAS, John Frederick and his wife, Cori, are the | 10 | | parents of two children, Sarah and Luke; therefore, be it | 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 12 | | HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | 13 | | we congratulate John T. Frederick on his retirement from The | 14 | | Boeing Company, and we wish him the best in all of his future | 15 | | endeavors; and be it further | 16 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 17 | | presented to John Frederick as a symbol of our respect and | 18 | | appreciation. |
