SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Doris Mae Wagner, who passed away on July
49, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Doris Wagner was born in Elgin to Herman and Marie
6(Oerkfitz) Berkley on August 1, 1940; she married Edward C.
7Wagner Jr. at Zion Lutheran Church in McHenry on January 21,
81961; she was a resident of Johnsburg for many years; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Doris Wagner retired as head teller from McHenry
10State Bank in 1996; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Doris Wagner moved to Las Vegas in 1997; she
12enjoyed spending time with family and friends, singing with the
13Sun City Music Makers and church choir, playing cards and
14games, crossword puzzles, and reading; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Doris Wagner was preceded in death by her parents;
16her husband, Edward Jr.; and her brothers-in-law, Frederick
17Kupstis and Lloyd Pohlman; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Doris Wagner is survived by her children, Daniel
19(Theresa) Wagner, Mark (Donna) Wagner, and Julia (Timothy)
20Roulette; her grandchildren, Joshua (Megan) Roulette, Brittany

1Roulette, Jena Wagner, Jacob Wagner, and Matthew Wagner; her
2great-grandchildren, Mia and Oliva; her sisters, Sandy Kupstis
3and Sharon Pohlman; and her brother and sister-in-law, Donald
4and Barbara Wagner; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Doris Mae Wagner, and extend our sincere condolences to her
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Doris Wagner as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
