SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Irving Yaffe; and

WHEREAS, Irving Yaffe was a friend to many and loved by all; and

WHEREAS, Irving Yaffe was the beloved husband of 59 years of the late Shirley Yaffe; the loving father of Garry (Mary), Michael (Nancy), and Randy (Linda) Yaffe; the cherished grandfather of Jerome (Sarah), Nicholas (Lauren), and Mark (Rachel) Yaffe, Lauren (Scott) Kalish, and Maxwell (Michelle) and Cara Yaffe; and the adored great-grandfather of Connor, Sloane, Will, Juliana, Rebekah, Layla, and Arielle; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Irving Yaffe, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Irving Yaffe as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
