| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Fred Borron Lindsey, who passed away on | 4 | | March 30, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Fred Lindsey was born in Alabama on July 6, 1924; | 6 | | and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Fred Lindsey served during World War II and was | 8 | | awarded the Purple Heart; he was thrilled to take the Honor | 9 | | Flight to Washington, D.C. to visit the World War II Memorial; | 10 | | and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Fred Lindsey was preceded in death by his wife, | 12 | | Marie (Doucette); his grandson, Keith Cox; his brothers, | 13 | | Alfred, Ellis, and Hugh; and his sister, June (Lindsey) Reeves; | 14 | | and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Fred Lindsey is survived by his 5 children, Linda | 16 | | (Lindsey) Self, Fred Lindsey, Pam (Ken) Cox, Dave (Nancy) | 17 | | Lindsey, and Bob Lindsey; his 7 grandchildren; and his 8 | 18 | | great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
