HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The Williamsville High School baseball team,
3proudly known as the Bullets, have achieved another year of
4honorable sportsmanship and victories on the field; and
 
5    WHEREAS, The Bullets have won an amazing 5 consecutive
6Sangamo Conference titles, finishing this year's season with a
7spectacular 31-7 record; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Coach Jess Buttry is in his ninth year serving as
9Head Coach of the Bullets and fourteenth year of service at
10Williamsville High School, leading 4 teams to a combined 112-25
11record; and
 
12    WHEREAS, The players of the Williamsville High School
13baseball team, John Beal, Justin Beggs, Luke Bleyer, Austin
14Brown, Brandon Bunger, Adam Clark, Dan Daykin, Dayton Edwards,
15Sam Fanale, Talon File, Drew Keenan, Logan Kramer, Andrew
16Roberts, Joe Roscetti, Vince Vignali, and KJ Woods, have all
17become better men and teammates through Coach Buttry's intense
18leadership and go-getter philosophy; and
 
19    WHEREAS, During the 2A State Championship, the Bullets
20never stopped fighting for victory, even to the last inning of
21the final game; although the Bullets did not win the

1Championship this year, the team outhit the Rockford Christian
2Royal Lions 8-7; Williamsville players continue to prove
3themselves as a force to be reckoned with each and every
4season; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
6NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
7congratulate the members of the Williamsville Bullets on the
8occasion of their successful season and for their countless
9hours of dedication and intense effort which allowed them to
10perform so impressively; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
12presented to Coach Buttry and the entire Williamsville High
13School baseball team as a symbol of our admiration and respect.
