SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Becky A. Daggett of Carlinville, who passed away on April 27, 2009; and

WHEREAS, She was born August 31, 1946, in Carlinville, the daughter of Paul and Betsy Jacoby Drury; she married Kenny Daggett on November 3, 1965; and

WHEREAS, She was a 1964 graduate of Carlinville Community High School; she worked as a computer specialist for the Illinois Department of Public Health for 35 years; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Jim Drury; and

WHEREAS, Becky Daggett is survived by her husband, Kenny Daggett; her son, Zachary (wife, Molly) Daggett; her daughter, Tracy Daggett; her granddaughter, Hayley Daggett; her father, Paul Drury; her brothers, Larry Drury and David (wife, Chris) Drury; her sister, Amy (husband, Joe) Reeves; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Becky Daggett; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Becky A. Daggett as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
