| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Dallas C. Matlock of Edwardsville, who | 4 | | passed away on December 1, 2010; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, He was born on July 25, 1942, in Greenville, the | 6 | | son of the late Kermit and Opal (Fowler) Matlock; he worked for | 7 | | the City of Edwardsville Water Department and retired in 2007 | 8 | | after 38 years of dedicated service; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, He was a member of the Edwardsville Masonic Lodge, | 10 | | Edwardsville Moose Lodge, Scottish Rite of Southern Illinois, | 11 | | Ainad Shriners Drum and Bugle Corp of East St Louis, and the | 12 | | Labor Local 397 in Edwardsville; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Matlock loved the outdoors and camping with | 14 | | his family and friends; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, | 16 | | Troy Matlock; his sister, Nina Ridgeway; his brothers, Eugene | 17 | | and Don Matlock; and his former wife, Darlene Matlock; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Dallas Matlock is survived by his beloved wife, | 19 | | Vicki L. Matlock; his son, Michael and Karen Brown; his | 20 | | daughters, Lisa and Kenny Bertrand and Sherri Howarth; his |
