| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply | 3 | | saddened to learn of the death of John Zeit, who passed away on | 4 | | October 17, 2012; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, John Zeit was born on January 20, 1927, in | 6 | | Cleveland, Ohio; he graduated from (Case) Western Reserve | 7 | | University and served in the U.S. Marine Corp.; he married | 8 | | Sally Lou Waterman; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, John Zeit worked as an accountant for American | 10 | | Steel and Wire in Cleveland, Ohio and Waukegan, the Ozite | 11 | | Corporation, and Domino Amjet; he volunteered with Junior | 12 | | Achievement, Easter Seals, and United Way; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, John Zeit was an active member of Living Faith | 14 | | United Methodist Church; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents and his | 16 | | brother, Dr. Paul Zeit; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, John Zeit is survived by his wife of 64 years, | 18 | | Sally Lou; his daughters, Betsy (Paul) Florin, Nancy (Tim | 19 | | Wildrick), and Kathy (Wade Christoffel); his grandchildren, | 20 | | Tyler (Nancy) Rivera, Max Florin, and Spencer Christoffel; his |
