1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn
3 of the death of Richard M. Kubiak of Central Stickney on
4 February 20, 2003; and
5 WHEREAS, Mr. Kubiak was born on February 20, 1929 in
6 Chicago; and
7 WHEREAS, Mr. Kubiak was a retired member of Pipefitters
8 Local #597; he was president and a member of the Central
9 Stickney Golden V.I.P.s and an active member of the Council
10 of Aging Stickney Township; and
11 WHEREAS, The passing of Mr. Kubiak has been deeply felt
12 by all who knew him, especially his wife, Lillian, nee
13 Szczepaniak; his children, Mark (Susette), Gail Kubiak, Linda
14 (Scott) Hamill, Eric (Dawn), and Earl (Michelle) Kubiak; and
15 his grandchildren, Kelly, Courtney, Ryan, Cassie, Quinlan,
16 Cade, Connor, Sydney, and Cole; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing
19 of Richard M. Kubiak of Central Stickney and extend to his
20 family, friends, and all who knew and loved him, our sincere
21 condolences; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the family of Richard M. Kubiak as an expression
24 of our deepest sympathy.
