| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Ronald Shawn Lynch, who passed away on | 4 | | June 18, 2012; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Lynch was born on February 6, 1967, in | 6 | | Chicago; his parents were the late Francis Lynch and John | 7 | | Childress; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Lynch was raised in Chicago; he graduated | 9 | | from the Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education in | 10 | | 1988; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Lynch accepted Christ at an early age; he | 12 | | was a faithful member of the New Covenant Baptist Church, under | 13 | | the leadership of Reverend Stephen John Thurston; despite his | 14 | | physical disability, he understood and had a great love for the | 15 | | preached word of God and gospel music; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Lynch was an active and outgoing person who | 17 | | loved to participate in family activities and outdoor events; | 18 | | he also enjoyed spending time with his siblings, family, and | 19 | | friends, especially his very special nieces, Latiste Marks, | 20 | | Wishanda Beasley, and Patricia Thomas; and |

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Lynch was preceded in death by his parents | 2 | | and his siblings, Terrence, Vincent, and Roslyn; and
| 3 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Lynch is survived by his sisters, Victoria | 4 | | Prewitt (Jimmy) and Yolandas Robinson; his brothers, Brian | 5 | | Lynch (Florida) and Roderick Lynch; his 7 nieces; his 2 | 6 | | nephews; his 11 great-nieces; his 7 great-nephews; his | 7 | | great-great nephew; his uncles, Charles Walker and Delton | 8 | | Robinson; and his many other relatives and friends; therefore, | 9 | | be it
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | 11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 12 | | his family and friends, the passing of Ronald Shawn Lynch; and | 13 | | be it further
