| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Vito Phillip Buffalo of Lake in the | 4 | | Hills, who passed away on June 21, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Vito Buffalo was born on October 27, 1931 in | 6 | | Chicago; his parents were Salvatore and Josephine Buffalo; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Vito Buffalo served his country as a member of the | 8 | | United States Navy aboard the USS Kula Gulf during the Korean | 9 | | War; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Vito Buffalo was the proud proprietor of Main | 11 | | Street Meat Market in Algonquin for over 35 years; and | 12 | | WHEREAS, Vito Buffalo entertained countless music | 13 | | enthusiasts and dancers in ballrooms throughout the Chicago | 14 | | area for over 65 years; his mother bought him his first trumpet | 15 | | in his early teen years and it quickly became his passion; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Vito Buffalo is preceded in death by his parents; | 17 | | his second wife, Linda Buffalo; a brother, Phil Buffalo; and 2 | 18 | | sisters, Faye Sobal and Rosalie Becker; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Vito Buffalo is survived by 3 children, Anthony, |

| 1 | | Bryan, and Kristen Durante; his first wife, Judith Buffalo; 5 | 2 | | grandchildren, Lauren, Rachel, Christina, Andrew, and Lukas; 2 | 3 | | stepchildren, Missy Bonner and Scott Blazek, and their | 4 | | children, Alexis, Mitch, AJ, TJ, Kennedy, and Emerson; and his | 5 | | last love, Cynthia Calvillo, her 3 children, Emily, Stephanie, | 6 | | and Molly, and her 2 grandchildren, Robert and Autumn; | 7 | | therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | 10 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Vito Phillip Buffalo; | 11 | | and be it further
