| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of David R. "Dave" Schoeve of Moline, who | 4 | | passed away on January 9, 2022; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Dave Schoeve was born to Richard and Mary | 6 | | (Ryckaert) Schoeve in Moline on January 13, 1965; he graduated | 7 | | from Moline High School in 1983; he received his associate's | 8 | | degree from Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California; | 9 | | he served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Avionics; he married Rita | 10 | | M. Behnken in Moline on February 6, 1987; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Dave Schoeve worked at Alcoa in Riverdale, Iowa | 12 | | for 22 years; he worked at Exelon in Cordova for the past 12 | 13 | | years; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Dave Schoeve coached his sons in baseball and | 15 | | basketball; he enjoyed car racing, fishing, camping, and | 16 | | watching his son Hunter playing saxophone; he loved going on | 17 | | day trips and cruising in one of the convertibles; most of all, | 18 | | he loved his family; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Dave Schoeve is survived by his wife, Rita; his | 20 | | children, Zack (Kori) Schoeve, Tyler Schoeve, Austin Schoeve, | 21 | | and Hunter Schoeve; his grandchildren, Bennett and Eleanor; |

| 4 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | 5 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 6 | | David R. "Dave" Schoeve and extend our sincere condolences to | 7 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 8 | | further
