| 1 | | SENATE RESOLUTION | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Donald Dean Larimore of Pekin, who | 4 | | passed away on December 19, 2023; and | 5 | | WHEREAS, Dean Larimore was born to Bert Nelson and | 6 | | Kathleen Emma (Smith) Larimore in Pekin on February 24, 1934; | 7 | | he graduated from Pekin Community High School in 1952; he | 8 | | served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1957; he married June | 9 | | Yvonne "Bonnie" Templeton in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 7, | 10 | | 1994; and | 11 | | WHEREAS, Dean Larimore first worked at Peoria Thermal; he | 12 | | was also a self-employed owner of Dean's Heating and Air | 13 | | Conditioning in East Peoria for many years; he was a building | 14 | | engineer and maintenance worked at First Financial Bank for 10 | 15 | | years, retiring on July 17, 1996; and | 16 | | WHEREAS, Dean Larimore was a member of Bayview Baptist | 17 | | Church in Washington, and he was a life member of Empire Lodge | 18 | | 126, Ancient Free & Accepted Masons of Pekin; and | 19 | | WHEREAS, Dean Larimore was a longtime private pilot who | 20 | | loved flying; he also square-danced for many years and enjoyed | 21 | | roller skating; he was very grateful to have traveled on an |

| 1 | | Honor Flight trip; and | 2 | | WHEREAS, Dean Larimore was preceded in death by his | 3 | | parents; his wife; one stepson, Mark Lawson; two brothers; and | 4 | | two sisters; and | 5 | | WHEREAS, Dean Larimore is survived by his stepson, Gary | 6 | | Lawson; his stepdaughter, Carol (Tim) Reed; his | 7 | | granddaughters, Mary Schneider and Amy (Jeff) Frank; his | 8 | | grandson, Daniel (Angie) Reed; his great-grandchildren, | 9 | | Malorie (Aaron) Bramm, Andrew (Erica Doman) Schneider, Eloise | 10 | | Frank, and Vincent Schneider; and his great-great-grandsons, | 11 | | Francisco and Elliot; therefore, be it | 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL | 13 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 14 | | Donald Dean Larimore and extend our sincere condolences to his | 15 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 16 | | further | 17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 18 | | presented to the family of Dean Larimore as an expression of | 19 | | our deepest sympathy. |
