| 1 | | SENATE RESOLUTION | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Richard L. "Rich" Goodlick; and | 4 | | WHEREAS, Rich Goodlick was born in Bloomington to Carl and | 5 | | Bernice (Peterson) Goodlick on December 5, 1934; he served in | 6 | | the U.S. Army; he married Jan Miller at the First United | 7 | | Methodist church in Pekin on July 21, 1961; and | 8 | | WHEREAS, Rich Goodlick worked for Local 644 as a carpenter | 9 | | for 40 years before retiring in 1996; and | 10 | | WHEREAS, Rich Goodlick loved traveling with his wife, Jan, | 11 | | and spent winter months in Florida and Arizona and many | 12 | | summers in Alexandria, Minnesota at Jan's parents' cabin on | 13 | | Lake Brophy; he coached Cub Scout softball and Little League | 14 | | Baseball; he was a member of First United Methodist Church in | 15 | | Pekin; and | 16 | | WHEREAS, Rich Goodlick was preceded in death by his | 17 | | parents; his infant great-granddaughter, Karlee; his sisters, | 18 | | Donna Alt and Mary Alice Kuntz; and his brother, Larry | 19 | | Goodlick; and | 20 | | WHEREAS, Rich Goodlick is survived by his wife, Jan; his |

| 1 | | son, Randy (Pam) Seward; his daughter, Kim (Joe) Martin; his | 2 | | grandchildren, Kyle Seward, Kenzie (Cody) Bachman, Nick | 3 | | (Jessica) Stafford, and Tyler Stafford; eight | 4 | | great-grandchildren; his sisters, Wilma (Ray) Garber and Judy | 5 | | Kumpf; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it | 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 8 | | Richard L. "Rich" Goodlick and extend our sincere condolences | 9 | | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | 10 | | it further | 11 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 12 | | presented to the family of Rich Goodlick as an expression of | 13 | | our deepest sympathy. |
