| 1 | | SENATE RESOLUTION | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of David L. Kuhn of Coal Valley, who | 4 | | passed away on November 19, 2023; and | 5 | | WHEREAS, David Kuhn was born to Ralph A. and Mary R. (Rugh) | 6 | | Kuhn on January 1, 1950; he served in the U.S. Army; he married | 7 | | Marion L. Terpening in Galesburg in 1980; and | 8 | | WHEREAS, David Kuhn was employed as a draftsman at John | 9 | | Deere; after retirement, he worked at Oakwood Country Club in | 10 | | Coal Valley; and | 11 | | WHEREAS, David Kuhn enjoyed cars, riding his motorcycle, | 12 | | watching the Green Bay Packers, and spending time with his | 13 | | cat; and | 14 | | WHEREAS, David Kuhn was preceded in death by his wife, | 15 | | Marion; his parents; and his infant brother, Mark; and | 16 | | WHEREAS, David Kuhn is survived by his stepdaughter, | 17 | | Deanne Engelbrecht; his grandson, Josh (Krystal) Engelbrecht; | 18 | | his sisters-in-law, Janet (Pete) Drummond and Marjorie Gray; | 19 | | his brothers-in-law, Ed Terpening, Roger (Darcey) Terpening, | 20 | | and Jerry (Kathy) Terpening; his aunt, Jackie Shattuck; and |

Kuhn and extend our sincere condolences to his | 5 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 6 | | further | 7 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 8 | | presented to the family of David Kuhn as an expression of our | 9 | | deepest sympathy. |
