| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of
Joseph G. Bartel of Edison Park; and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Bartel was born in Chicago; he was a | 5 | | resident of Edison Park for many years; and
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Bartel served in a civil defense job as a | 7 | | gear inspector during World War II; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Bartel was employed in distribution work at | 9 | | Wilson Sporting Goods; he also worked as a mold polisher at | 10 | | Metal Masters and was also employed at Monogram Models for 25 | 11 | | years; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Bartel enjoyed playing music; he was an | 13 | | excellent drummer who played with various bands through the | 14 | | years and performed at the 1933 Century of Progress; and | 15 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Bartel was a member of Edison Park Lutheran | 16 | | Church; and | 17 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Bartel was preceded in death by wife, | 18 | | Lorrelle, and his 6 brothers and sisters; and |

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Bartel was the loving father of Joseph H. | 2 | | (Karen), Ron (Arlene), and Allan (Lorrie); the devoted | 3 | | grandfather of Susan (Paul), Sally (Mike), Joseph W., John | 4 | | (Laura), Cynthia, Claire, Paul (Gina), and David; and the | 5 | | great-grandfather of 8; therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 8 | | his family and friends, the passing of Joseph G. Bartel; and be | 9 | | it further
| 10 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 | | presented to the family of Joseph Bartel as an expression of | 12 | | our sympathy.
