| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Thomas Henry McIntire of East Moline, | 4 | | who passed on July 13, 2021; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Thomas McIntire was born in East Moline to Albert | 6 | | Allison and Violet Beatrice Gillan McIntire on July 17, 1939; | 7 | | he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1960 as an | 8 | | aircraft mechanic at Whiteman Air Base in Missouri; he married | 9 | | Nancy Wells in East Moline in 1960, and they later divorced; | 10 | | and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Thomas McIntire was an avid goat farmer, hobby | 12 | | farmer, and animal lover, especially his beloved Toby; he | 13 | | loved auctions, antiques, flea markets, and model plane | 14 | | building and flying; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Thomas McIntire was preceded in death by his | 16 | | parents; his sister, Catherine; his brothers, Jack, David, | 17 | | Alvin, Gary, and Albert Jr.; his son, Scott Thomas; and his | 18 | | granddaughter, Ashley Nicole; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Thomas McIntire is survived by his sons, Jeffrey | 20 | | (Ronnie), Mark, and Douglas; 11 grandchildren; 14 | 21 | | great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; |

| 2 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | 3 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 4 | | Thomas Henry McIntire and extend our sincere condolences to | 5 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 6 | | further
| 7 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 8 | | presented to the family of Thomas McIntire as an expression of | 9 | | our deepest sympathy.
