2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

11 Section 2. In addition to the amounts heretofore
12 appropriated, the following named amount, or so much thereof
13 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
14 Fund to the Industrial Commission for the project hereinafter
15 enumerated:
16 PEORIA OFFICE
17 For rent, staffing and equipment to operate
18 an office in Peoria................................ $28,300
19 Section 3. The amount of $34,400, or so much thereof as
20 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
21 Fund to the Industrial Commission for printing and
22 distribution of Workers' Compensation handbooks containing
23 information as to the rights and obligations of employers.
24 Section 4. The amount of $72,000, or so much thereof as
25 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
26 Fund to the Industrial Commission for the implementation and
27 operation of an accident reporting system.
28 Section 5. The sum of $26,800, or so much thereof as may
29 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund
30 to the Industrial Commission for all costs associated with

1 the establishment and operation of a satellite office in the
2 Metro East area.
3 Section 6. The sum of $9,723,200, or so much thereof as
4 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Industrial
5 Commission Operations Fund to the Industrial Commission for
6 administrative expenses.
7 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
8 July 1, 2003.
