| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Charles Lawrence "Chuck" Celaric of | 4 | | Waukegan, who passed away on December 18, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Celaric was born in Waukegan to Carl Albert | 6 | | and Marjorie Celaric on August 14, 1950; he grew up with a | 7 | | sense of humor and a love of animals, astronomy, and the | 8 | | cosmos; he served in the United States Air Force, where he was | 9 | | a Sergeant with Security Police and worked as a Military | 10 | | Working Dog Handler during the Vietnam War; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, After completing his military service, Chuck | 12 | | Celaric worked at the Waukegan Developmental Center; he then | 13 | | began his decades-long career at Illinois Bell, where he was an | 14 | | installer and then a repairman before retiring from AT&T; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Celaric was preceded in death by his wife, | 16 | | Jeanne Louise Celaric; his father, Carl Celaric; and his aunt, | 17 | | Christine Musick; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Celaric is survived by his daughters, Emily | 19 | | Jeanne (James) Kowal and Amanda Leigh (fiance Barry Oglesby) | 20 | | Celaric; his mother, Marjorie Celaric; his brother, Michael | 21 | | (Karyn) Celaric; his niece, Emma Celaric; his sister, Karen |

| 3 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 4 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 5 | | Charles Lawrence "Chuck" Celaric and extend our sincere | 6 | | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | 7 | | him; and be it further
