| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Harriet L. O'Neill of Bartonville, who | 4 | | passed away on October 19, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Harriet O'Neill was born in Peoria to William H. | 6 | | and Charlotte (McCann) King on May 26, 1935; she married Thomas | 7 | | H. O'Neill Jr. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Peoria on | 8 | | June 28, 1952; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Harriet O'Neill was a dedicated homemaker and | 10 | | mother; in the 1980s, she worked part time at the Illini Bluffs | 11 | | School District cafeteria; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Harriet O'Neill participated with the Peoria | 13 | | Southside Bums, the Peoria Fire Department retirees and widows, | 14 | | and the Knights of Columbus #4333 55+ Club; family was | 15 | | important to her, and she enjoyed spending time with her | 16 | | children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, including | 17 | | weekly family dinners; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Harriet O'Neill was preceded in death by her | 19 | | husband, Thomas; her parents; and her brother, Roger; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Harriet O'Neill is survived by her children, |
