| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Lois Estelle Davis, who passed away on | 4 | | November 26, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Lois Davis was born to Frank Park Watkins and | 6 | | Louise Gladys Watkins on August 16, 1929; she attended Chicago | 7 | | Public Schools and earned a master's degree from Roosevelt | 8 | | University; she married Lennell Davis; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Lois Davis was a registered nurse and worked at | 10 | | The Chicago Maternity Center and for the Chicago Board of | 11 | | Health; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Lois Davis was a member of St. Mark United | 13 | | Methodist Church in Chicago; she enjoyed reading, watching | 14 | | movies, baking, cooking, dancing, and traveling; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Lois Davis was preceded in death by her husband, | 16 | | Lennell; her siblings, Laura Watkins-Harden, Lillian Marie | 17 | | Broussard, Lenora Louis Godwin, Barbara Jean Harden, and Nancy | 18 | | Elizabeth Bains; and her son-in-law, Kevin Goosby; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Lois Davis is survived by her sister, Joane | 20 | | Watkins; her children, Dr. Kenneth (Gail) Davis, Linda Davis, |
