| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Wayne M. "Chic" Tegtman of Hampshire, who | 4 | | passed away on January 4, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Tegtman was born in Charles City, Iowa on | 6 | | April 18, 1926 to George and Minnie (nee Yocum) Tegtman; he | 7 | | left school early to help on the family farm until he was | 8 | | drafted into the United States Navy during World War II and was | 9 | | stationed in Guam; after returning, he married Rosemary Cramsey | 10 | | in Feburary of 1949 and they settled in Hampshire; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Tegtman worked at the Country Delight milk | 12 | | factory in Hampshire, retiring in 1988; he also worked for many | 13 | | years at Gustafson's gas station in Hampshire; after his | 14 | | retirement, he worked for John Freund at the Marengo Funeral | 15 | | Home, driving the families during processionals; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Tegtman was a member of St. Charles Borromeo | 17 | | Catholic Church; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Tegtman was preceded in death by his | 19 | | parents; his wife of 62 years, Rosemary; his granddaughter, Amy | 20 | | Ferguson; his 3 brothers; his 7 sisters; and many in-laws; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Tegtman is survived by his children, Donna | 2 | | Rabe, Deborah (Paul) Crawford, Doug (Janna), Daniel "Boone", | 3 | | Denise (Tim) Hoopes, Diane (Tom) Schiffer, and Dale (Claire); | 4 | | his grandchildren, Brett (Jodi) Ferguson, Cara Ferguson, | 5 | | Justin Dvorin, Jason Crawford, Sam (Danielle) Tegtman, Peter | 6 | | and Marthe Tegtman, Nate Tegtman, Erin Hoopes, Andy, Katie, and | 7 | | Sarah Schiffer, and Luke, Ellie, and Nick Tegtman; his 6 | 8 | | great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Ada Tegtman; his | 9 | | brother-in-law, Dave Walker; and many nieces and nephews; | 10 | | therefore, be it
| 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 12 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 13 | | Wayne M. "Chic" Tegtman, and extend our sincere condolences to | 14 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 15 | | further
