| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Frederick "Fred" L. Wade of Bloomington, | 4 | | who passed away on August 14, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Fred Wade was born to Emmet and Florence Panneitz | 6 | | Wade in Bloomington on September 3, 1934; he married Constance | 7 | | "Connie" J. Brucker in Metropolis on November 27, 1953; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Fred Wade worked as a Bloomington firefighter for | 9 | | 31 years until his retirement in 1991; he was also employed by | 10 | | State Farm Insurance as a printing press operator for 27 years; | 11 | | and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Fred Wade was a lifelong member of Trinity | 13 | | Lutheran Church in Bloomington, where he was the president of | 14 | | the 50+ senior club for many years and was involved with the | 15 | | church's Boy Scout Troop 38; he was also a member of the | 16 | | Bloomington/Normal Retired Firefighters; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Fred Wade was preceded in death by his parents; | 18 | | his son, Steven Wade; his sisters, Connie Jean Scheller and | 19 | | Donna Wade; and his brother, Ron Wade; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Fred Wade is survived by his loving wife of 66 |

| 1 | | years, Connie; his children, Terri Sue (Charles) Daugherty, | 2 | | Randall Wade, and Rebecca Wade; his daughter-in-law, Nancy | 3 | | Wade; his grandchildren, Bradley (Kathy) Wade, Megan Wade, Kyle | 4 | | Daugherty, Jared Daugherty, Jacob Rush, and Henry Rush; his | 5 | | great-grandchildren, Emma Wade and Austin Wade; and his sister, | 6 | | Shirley Brucker; therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

condolences to | 10 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
