| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Ralph Joseph Sprott of Waukegan, who | 4 | | passed away on June 18, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Sprott was born in Waukegan on February 26, | 6 | | 1970 to Ralph and Irene Sprott; he attended North Chicago | 7 | | public schools and graduated from North Chicago Community High | 8 | | School in 1988; he attended the University of Illinois | 9 | | Champaign-Urbana, where he earned both his undergraduate | 10 | | degree and Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Sprott received his license to practice as a | 12 | | speech and language pathologist in July of 2001; he worked for | 13 | | school districts in the McHenry and Kane County areas, | 14 | | including schools in Algonquin and Huntly; he then worked for | 15 | | ProCare as a speech pathologist, serving in this capacity at | 16 | | North Chicago Community High School and Neal Jr. High School; | 17 | | and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Sprott was a member of the Waukegan Alumni | 19 | | Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi-Fraternity Incorporated, and served | 20 | | as the Strategus; he was also a member of Jesus Name Apostolic | 21 | | Church since 2013; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Sprott is survived by his parents, Ralph and | 2 | | Irene Sprott; sister, Vickey Wells; fiance, Patricia Wade, and | 3 | | her daughters, Trynity and Tystin Wade, as well as her mother, | 4 | | Elder Lillian Poole and her sister Deborah Farris, and a host | 5 | | of aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends, Ahmad Qawi, | 6 | | James Stoval, Donell Foster, and James Morris; and his | 7 | | childhood friends and fellow classmates, affectionately known | 8 | | as, The Sophisticated Gents; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 11 | | Ralph Joseph Sprott, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 12 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 13 | | further
| 14 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 15 | | presented to the family of Ralph Sprott as an expression of our | 16 | | deepest sympathy.
