| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Wendell G. Thiele of Huntley, who passed | 4 | | away on December 8, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Wendell Thiele was born on August 27, 1924 in | 6 | | Berrien Springs, Michigan; his parents were Arthur and Nellie | 7 | | (nee Sweeney) Thiele; he married Carmilla E. Adams on July 31, | 8 | | 1982 in Huntley; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Wendell Thiele was a member of the United States | 10 | | Army Air Corps during World War II; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Wendell Thiele was a member of Carpenters and | 12 | | Joiners of America Local 54; a master carpenter, he retired as | 13 | | Senior Vice President of Gerhardt F. Meyne Company in Chicago | 14 | | after 40 years of service; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Wendell Thiele was preceded in death by his | 16 | | parents; his brothers, Arthur and Carlyle; his sister, Jackie | 17 | | Williamson; his granddaughter; and his great-grandson; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Wendell Thiele is survived by his wife, Carmilla; | 19 | | his daughters, Jill (Ned) Wetmore, Joan (William) Baumann, and | 20 | | Christine (Peter) Hoeffner; his stepson, David Rose; his |
