| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Charles A. "Chuck" Bray of East | 4 | | Moline, who passed away on October 27, 2022; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Bray was born in Osceola, Missouri on | 6 | | December 19, 1937; he was the son of Richard and Arnetta | 7 | | (Johnson) Bray; he served in the U.S. Army; he married Joann R. | 8 | | Tomsheck on September 10, 1960, and she preceded him in death | 9 | | on February 15, 1999; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Bray served as a systems analyst at the | 11 | | Rock Island Arsenal and retired in 1993; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Bray appreciated the simple things in life; | 13 | | he enjoyed fishing, having a drink with friends, and spending | 14 | | time with his family; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Bray was preceded in death by his parents; | 16 | | his wife; and his brothers, Donald Bray, Norman Bray, and Lee | 17 | | (Mary) Johnson; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Chuck Bray is survived by his children, Chuck | 19 | | (Cheryl) Bray and Connie (Tom) Schwarz; his grandchildren, | 20 | | Christopher (Breanna) Schwarz, Jackson (Danica) Bray, Michael |
